Dairy Queen is giving ice cream enthusiasts an extra special (and sweet) way to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. Known for its delicious soft serve and frozen Blizzard treats, this iconic fast food chain is adding two beloved red velvet items back to the menu on January 27th, and you’ll want a taste before they are gone again.

It’s no secret that Dairy Queen’s offerings are irresistible, and that’s why they’re bringing back festive Valentine’s Day treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. Here’s everything to know about the fleeting return of the two menu items.

    Returning Red Velvet Items

The Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Treat and the Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake will reappear for a limited time this season.

The fan-favorite Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Treat was originally added to the menu in 2014 and features rich red velvet cake pieces, the creamiest cream cheese icing, and Dairy Queen’s iconic soft-serve ice cream.

Also joining the menu is the Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake, the perfect treat to enjoy with your sweetheart. Made with layers of vanilla soft serve, red velvet cake pieces, cream cheese icing, and the Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Treat on top, this frozen indulgence will have dessert covered this holiday.

Here’s What Customers Have to Say

Last year, customers were raving about the Cupid Cake on Instagram—and for good reason, since it’s just as tasty as it is adorable.

“This is the best cake ever,” read one comment on Dairy Queen’s Instagram post. Some are even taking it a step further by incorporating the treats into other celebrations. “This is going to be my birthday cake,” read another comment.

Enjoying both treats for one day isn’t nearly enough, and thankfully, Dairy Queen understands that. The Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Treat and the Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake can be enjoyed for days to come, but they are only here for a limited time, while the season of love lasts.
