Kristen Doute is “in loveee”… with her new look.
While bumping along in her second trimester, The Valley mother-to-be treated herself to a hair refresh. Kristen teased the change in a January 24 Instagram photo taken at the Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood. The mirror selfie showed the Vanderpump Rules alum sitting in the salon chair and rocking a jumbo roller as stylist Riawna Capri held up a pair of scissors and a comb.

“Hair did,” Kristen captioned the playful snap.
Several minutes later, the former SUR-ver returned to the ’Gram to show off the final results. And, we must say, the update was stunning. Kristen posted a boomerang of Riawna running her hands through Kristen’s long, layered, and noticeably lighter locks.
“In LOVEEE,” she wrote in the Story.
Kristen is expecting a baby girl with her fiancé, Luke Broderick
Kristen debuted her sunkissed hair as she and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, prepare to welcome baby No. 1. The couple announced the happy news in November 2024, nearly three months after they got engaged, and revealed the baby’s sex in early December.
“We’re having a baby and we’re having a girl,” Kristen said in the December 13 episode of her and Luke’s Balancing Act podcast.
Kristen said her longtime besties/castmates Brittany Cartwright and Zack Wickham were among the very few who knew the baby’s sex before it was publicly announced, as they were in charge of throwing the big reveal party.
“I’m glad we did one. I wasn’t gonna do one,” Kristen said about the celebration. “I don’t know why I was sour about it. I was like, ‘I don’t need one. I don’t need the party with all the people and I don’t need the games. I’m just too old for that.’ I was being kind of a sourpuss about it, but truly, it was a lot of attention and I get overwhelmed.”
Kristen said she ultimately agreed to the reveal party after she realized she wanted the memory.
Kristen recalls the ways she tried predicting her baby’s sex
Before the party went down, the couple read several wives’ tales and predictor charts that purportedly indicate the sex of an unborn baby. One of the charts included a list of “symptoms” that were commonly associated with women who were expecting boys. Kristen said the chart considered a wide range of factors, like the frequency of morning sickness, the types of cravings, belly shape, and skin complexion, many of which indicated Kristen would likely have a son. However, there was one sign that suggested the opposite: her prickly mood.
“That was easy. Girls make you moody, apparently,” she said. “Ding, ding, ding. I should have known just from that one.”
