    1. Frank Lloyd Wright’s Public Tours

In our most-clicked home tour piece of 2024, we shared a list of iconic Frank Lloyd Wright houses that you can experience in person—along with stunning images of each one. From iconic estates to simple homes, the strong angles and ornamental details showcase exactly why Frank Lloyd Wright is one of the most recognized architects in the world.

    2. Jennifer Garner’s Farmhouse

With a custom-built home inspired by her childhood, Jennifer Garner proves she has good design taste—on top of being a mom, hosting her own Pretend Cooking Show, and offering fitness inspiration to her 17 million Instagram followers. Her farmhouse-inspired Los Angeles home caught the eye of many of our readers, securing it as our second-most popular home tour of the year. Its woodsy accents and cozy atmosphere are sure to draw you in.

    3. Green Cottage Oasis

Our third-most popular home tour of the year was dedicated to the color green. Neutral tones will always be a timeless color scheme, but Shea Watson and her husband took a step outside of the ordinary while reimagining a century-old cottage as their dream house. The green accents perfectly complement the olive trees outside to create a beautifully serene oasis from the comfort of indoors.

    4. Surf-Inspired Coastal Oasis

The interior of Shaina Kerrigan and Mark Jones’ home is airy, beachy, and casual. With Mark’s interest in surfing and Shaina’s ownership of a plant-based confections company, a home with a seaside aesthetic perfectly aligns with their nature-focused lifestyles. With a large open deck, natural wood accents, and surfboard decor, their house was viewed over and over by our readers.

    5. Small House with Big Style

Big style doesn’t necessarily require a big house. Brooke Christen held nothing back while decorating her family’s Connecticut home, even though it stands at a modest size of 1,100 square feet. In this popular home tour, Christen walks us through her design choices, which includes a few large-scale pieces such as her great-grandmother’s piano.

    6. Next-Level DIY Home

This popular home tour was the result of the ultimate DIY project. Renee Cusano and her husband updated their 1931 Tudor-style house to maximize style on a limited budget. Using IKEA cabinets, self-made furniture, and a trusty hot glue gun, they transformed their home into a place of elegant style and detailed decor.

    7. Cozy Blue Cottage

Blue is the new neutral in this renovated sky blue cottage. From the trim and fireplace mantel to the kitchen cabinets, Mary Kate Carl covered her home in beautiful blue tones. The same color, but at a 50 percent saturation, also coats the house’s exterior. This true-blue home proves that blue can be a cheery neutral in place of traditional whites.

    8. Midcentury Style Meets Universal Design

When Amy Webb and her husband Bracken realized they needed a better-functioning home for their second daughter, they purchased a run-down house and hired an architect with experience in universal design. This would ensure anyone—regardless of age, size, or ability—could function in their house. Clean white walls and neutral furniture emphasize the view of the wooded landscape for a midcentury feel, while renovations such as an elevator, ramps, and an accessible bathroom add accessibility.

    9. Julianne Hough’s Home

For Julianne Hough, home is a place where she can feel like her true self, and we take readers inside her house for a glimpse of her design styles. As a result of her on-the-go lifestyle as a dancer and singer turned actor, Hough prioritized comfortable, versatile furniture and nature-inspired color tones to counter her busy public life.

    10. A House Bursting with Color

A butter yellow living room, teal library, and candy apple red accents are all traits of the house featured in the 10th most-clicked home tour of the year. When Kate Donovan and Leslie Joblin first toured the space that they now call home, they were immediately drawn to the rainbows of color flowing through every corner of the house. Since then, they have added additional color and vibrance to every nook and cranny to personalize it into a truly unique space.
