PayPal Updates User Agreement, Makes Available Form 1099Ks

PayPal is updating two provisions of its user agreement covering privacy and charities. It’s also notifying customers of the availability of IRS Form 1099Ks, which summarize the gross payments customers received through PayPal for the sales of goods and services for tax-year 2024.

To access information about the changes to the PayPal user agreement, customers can visit PayPal’s website, click on “Legal” at the bottom of the page, and select “Policy Updates.” Doing so will take visitors to a page where it outlines changes to the following two policies – the Privacy Statement and the Confirmed Charities Terms and Conditions – with links to more information:

We’re updating the PayPal Privacy Statement (and the separate Fastlane by PayPal Terms and Conditions) to improve your experience. You can use information you save with Fastlane to help speed up checkouts and other online shopping tasks, like creating a store account.
