Dorit Kemsley is showing support to her new bestie Bozoma Saint John.
After being introduced in the Season 14 premiere, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills moms quickly developed a friendship that is still going strong. Dorit proved this last week when she flew across the country to celebrate Boz’s 48th birthday.
The Beverly Hills mom documented the trip in a January 28 Instagram post, which included shots of her and Boz deboarding a private jet, hitting the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse, and stopping by the Tamron Hall Show; however, the majority of the slides focused on Boz’s small but elegant birthday bash in New York City.

The first photo showed the Housewives dressed to the nines while posing inside Boz’s hotel suite. Dorit donned a dark sleek bodysuit with knee-high boots and matching long gloves, while Boz stepped stunned in a two-piece Velvet Muse ensemble with rose appliqués on the crop top and maxi skirt.
The following photos captured Boz enjoying a few drinks with friends before she was presented with a black birthday cake with silver-tone piping.
According to Boz’s January 21 Instagram, the party was presented in partnership with Absolut vodka, A-Game Public Relations, and Candis Grace of the Brand Group LA. Harlem-based restaurant Teranga catered the intimate event.
Dorit shares a sweet tribute for her “dear friend” Boz
Although Boz appeared in high spirits throughout the night, Dorit said she could see Boz was still reeling from losing her home to the ongoing California wildfires.
“A week ago today, I had the privilege of celebrating the birthday of my dear friend [Boz] in NYC,” Dorit captioned the post. “This year’s celebration was bittersweet, as she had just suffered the heartbreaking loss of the home she worked her entire life to build. Though Boz is one of the strongest and most resilient people I know, I could feel the weight of her broken heart, which left me deeply sad.”
Dorit said in the wake of the tragedy, some of Boz’s closest friends — “many of whom she has known for decades” — came together to celebrate her special day. She said the event “was a beautiful testament to the profound impact” Boz has had on people’s lives.
“Boz is someone I both admire and adore. I met her during one of the most challenging times in my life,” Dorit said, referencing her split from Paul “PK” Kemsley, “and her friendship quickly became a bright light that helped me through. She is beautiful, intelligent, genuine, caring, kind, generous, extraordinary, fearless, and simply fabulous. It was an honor to celebrate her, even in the midst of her trials. She deserves all the love and joy in the world, and I feel so lucky to call her my friend.”
Dorit’s birthday message had Boz “crying”
Boz returned the kind words in the comments section, suggesting a higher power brought her and Dorit together.
“I’m CRYING!!!!!! You are one of the blessings of being on this show,” she replied. “I don’t believe in coincidences… I believe in Divine timing. So we are meant to enter each other’s lives right now! Even as you navigate this time in your life, I hope to bring light when you want it, and counsel when you need it… and vodka, club soda and 3 lemons (carcass out!) whenever you even think of it!! Thank you for caring for me too— in big ways and small ways… I love you!”
