The countdown to Super Bowl Sunday is just about done, which means millions of viewers around the country will be tuning in to watch Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Kylie Kelce’s favorite team face off (aka, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles). If you’re getting in the game day spirit with a watch party, there are a handful of ways to make the occasion more entertaining beyond sitting down to watch sports. 1. Puppy Bowl Pre-Watch Party

There’s simply nothing cuter than the Puppy Bowl. Animal Planet hosts this pre-game program, and as the name suggests, it mimics the Super Bowl—except the players are adorable and adoptable (!!!) puppies. Team Ruff and Team Fluff compete for the Lombark Trophy, with the event supporting animal shelters and rescues around the country. Every puppy player is up for adoption, and the feel-good program aims to raise awareness about adopting pets from shelters and rescuing abandoned animals.
