It didn’t take long for Denise Richards & Her Wild Things to bring up that topic: Denise Richards and Sami Sheen’s OnlyFans careers.
The two had a heart-to-heart about it during a shared Pilates lesson on Episode 1, which aired March 4.
While 20-year-old Sami has found success on the platform, it hasn’t always been easy for her, and as she explained to mom Denise, she’s been considering taking traditional modeling more seriously.
“It’s just like really hard, like, reading all the messages,” Sami admitted. “And like…I don’t know. It’s a lot.”
“I was upset for you,” Denise said, regarding the backlash her daughter received after signing up. “I know what it’s like starting in this business and having people say certain things. And so I wanted to join [too]. I just felt like I had to have your back.”

Sami famously joined OnlyFans in June 2022, a few months after her 18th birthday. “When I started, I was working a minimum-wage job at a little candy shop in Malibu,” she said in a confessional interview on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. “But I really wanted to start supporting myself. Candy shop ain’t gonna cut it!”
After making her account, “I did think about, like, wait, that’s so funny — last week I was selling candy and now I’m selling my nudes on the internet,” she added on the show.
However, Sami doesn’t plan on using OnlyFans forever. “Once I have another job that I really like,” such as modeling, “then I would stop it.”

It turns out that Denise’s daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, wasn’t initially thrilled by her decision. “At first I was pissed that you made one,” confessed Sami. “But now I don’t care.”
The two continued the conversation in a confessional interview. “[The public conversation] switched from like, ‘Sami Sheen Starts OnlyFans’ to ‘Denise Richards Joins Daughter and Starts OnlyFans’ and then it was all about you,” Sami said.
In a voiceover, Denise explained her line of thinking was, “I’m supporting my daughter.”

Denise isn’t shy about discussing her online presence — only about how much she makes from it. But while she’s yet to reveal her income from the content creation platform, she told People in February 2025 that the side gig is “quite lucrative.”
