Singapore Airlines has just reached 10 million members joining its KrisFlyer loyalty program, and to celebrate, it is offering discounts and bonuses across its network.

For new flight redemptions made between March 7 and 23, KrisFlyer members can enjoy a 20% discount on the miles needed for economy flights across the worldwide Singapore Airlines network. This discount applies to all Saver- and Advantage-level economy redemptions operated by Singapore Airlines, with no blackout dates for travel between May 1 and Nov. 15.

    FLIGHT CONNECTIONS

The airline is also offering a 20% discount on premium economy redemptions for flights to and from the U.S. for the same booking window and travel period, including between:

    • New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)
    • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and SIN
    • San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and SIN
    • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT) and SIN
    • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and SIN
    • Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Manchester Airport (MAN) in the U.K. and SIN (route ends 1 April)

Also, remember Singapore Airlines’ ongoing Spontaneous Escapes promotion, which provides monthly discounts on select routes for last-minute travel.

If you’re looking to book a cash fare rather than redeem miles between March 24 and 31, KrisFlyer will also award 50% more miles for all flights operated by Singapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary Scoot for flights booked directly with either airline for travel between April 1 and Oct. 31.

“KrisFlyer is deeply appreciative of our members’ trust and loyalty, which has driven our global membership number to double in just three years. We are celebrating this milestone with exclusive promotions and mile accrual opportunities as a gesture of gratitude to our loyal members,” Dai Haoyu, the senior vice president of marketing planning at Singapore Airlines, said in a statement.

KrisFlyer will also offer a 30% sitewide discount on redemptions through its nontravel KrisShop store and Pelago travel experience platform.

While Singapore Airlines doesn’t offer a cobranded credit card in the U.S., miles are easy to earn, as the airline partners with several major transferable rewards programs, including:

The program will also offer a 20% bonus to members transferring KrisFlyer miles to Accor Live Limitless (and vice versa) from March 7 to 25. Members can ordinarily transfer:

    • 4,500 KrisFlyer miles to become 1,000 ALL points (increased to 1,200 ALL points with the new promotion)
    • 2,000 ALL points to become 1,000 KrisFlyer miles (increased to 1,200 KrisFlyer miles with the new promotion)

There’s also a 20% bonus on mileage transfers from KrisFlyer to Marriott Bonvoy, with members now receiving 1,800 Bonvoy points for every 3,000 KrisFlyer miles transferred.

In our March 2025 valuations, TPG values KrisFlyer miles at 1.35 cents each, Accor Live Limitless points at 2 cents each and Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents each. So, even with the 20% bonuses, this may not be the best way to redeem KrisFlyer miles.

    Bottom line

Singapore Airlines’ new KrisFlyer promotion offers bonuses and discounts to celebrate reaching 10 million members. While the transfer bonuses with Accor Live Limitless and Marriott Bonvoy may not represent the best value way to redeem your KrisFlyer miles, the 20% discount on economy and premium economy redemptions can be a great way to save miles on your next flight on one of the world’s leading airlines. The 50% bonus miles earned on new cash bookings flying Singapore Airlines and Scoot is also a great offer.

If you haven’t joined the KrisFlyer program yet, you can receive a welcome bonus of 1,000 miles if you join by March 31 and enter the code “KF10M.”
