    A federal judge should dismiss the public corruption prosecution against New York City Mayor Eric Adams with prejudice, an independent attorney assigned to review the matter advised on Friday.

    The federal rules of criminal procedure offer courts a very “limited” role when it comes to the relationship between the judicial and executive branch, wrote former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement.
