After a year and a half on the market, the late Mary Tyler Moore’s Greenwich estate may finally be sold.

The actress’ widower, retired cardiologist Robert Levine, agreed to sell the property at 50 Dingletown Road, the New York Post reported. While the deal is in contract, a sale of the lavish Connecticut home has not been finalized.

The potential purchase price and buyer’s identity were not reported.

Levine listed the 14,000-square-foot property in September 2023 for $21.9 million but slashed the asking price on the home multiple times. Last April, Levine dropped the ask to $18.9 million. In July, he dropped it even further to $16.9 million, the asking price when the home went into contract.

At the final asking price, the deal would break down to $1,207 per square foot.

The couple purchased the seven-acre estate for roughly $10 million in 2006. Moore, known for starring on “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” died in 2017; Levine decided to sell as part of the moving on process after his wife’s death.

They tore down the Georgian-style house — with the exception of the front facade — and spent three years doubling the size of the property. The entryway has a curved staircase and harlequin-patterned floors, and a wall of windows to look out on the garden and a skylight. The primary suite, meanwhile, is in its own wing, featuring dual dressing rooms, including a closet with 100 linear feet of hanging space.

The property also has a spa with a massage room, hot tub and sauna, a gym with a ballet barre, a solarium, a billiards room and an outdoor pool.

Sotheby’s International Realty’s Joseph Barbieri has the listing.

Levine previously said a portion of proceeds from the sale will go towards the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative, which aims to preserve and restore vision for those with diabetes; Moore was diagnosed with diabetes in 1969.
