I own more hair care products than I’d care to admit. However, it’s necessary after all of the years spent styling my hair with heat and still doing so today. I constantly find myself with sparser spots and damaged strands. Given this, it’s no surprise that a majority of my collection consists of hair growth products. Truthfully, I can’t stop buying new formulas, especially now that Amazon just lowered prices on countless options during its Big Spring Sale. While browsing through the budget-friendly picks, I found the Kitsch Strengthening Hair and Scalp Oil that’s on sale for $15.

This scalp oil is composed of natural ingredients that comes with a number of revitalizing benefits for all hair types. The likes of which includes encouraging hair growth, preventing breakage, treating dandruff, and conditioning hair particularly thanks to its star ingredients biotin and rosemary oil. Biotin is essential for your hair’s health as it improves weakened strands, hydrates, protects, and boosts shine.

Meanwhile, rosemary oil is another strand-strengthening ingredient that promotes a thicker appearance. It contains carnosic acid that increases blood circulation to the scalp, which “can deliver more nutrients and oxygen to the follicles, potentially promoting healthier and stronger hair growth,” explained Alan J. Bauman, MD, founder, CEO, and medical director of Bauman Medical Hair Transplant and Hair Loss Treatment Center, in a previous Shape interview.

While more research is still needed to prove rosemary oil’s effectiveness, it has been found to increase hair growth similar to minoxidil, an FDA-approved active ingredient. The impressive ingredient also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that can soothe an itchy, irritated scalp. To top it off, this lavender-scented formula contains other ingredients like argan, jojoba, castor oils to further nourish hair and scalp — just make sure to apply 10 minutes prior to washing, then rinse it out to avoid an oily appearance.

More than 3,000 Amazon shoppers just bought this affordable hair growth oil this month, and I totally understand why based on reviews. “I have baby hairs finally growing back at my hair line and places I have struggled for it to grow for some time,” said a reviewer. A second reviewer raved that their thinning hair is “filling in,” while another customer added that “new baby hair [is] growing all over [their] head.” Other shoppers similarly shared that their mane is “thicker and longer” as well as new growth “coming in.” Keep in mind, though, a few users noted the dropper design can cause a messy application at times.

Tackle your thinning strands with the Kitsch Strengthening Hair and Scalp Oil formulated with rosemary and biotin. Shop this $15 hair growth oil along with more similar treatments for less during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.
