Erin’s journey to having the baby and getting pregnant was nothing short of eventful. Read on to get all of the details about her pregnancy, marriage, and family down below.
Details on Erin Lichy’s pregnancy announcement
Erin announced that she was expecting baby number four in a Nov. 12 interview with People. “It feels like adding another act to the circus!” she joked.
“Work and life have been so busy that I haven’t really had the chance to even think about how it’ll change things, but I think it will be pretty seamless, to be honest,” she said. “Three vs. four kids doesn’t seem so scary.”
But the early days of this pregnancy were not easy for Erin. “The first 10 weeks were rough,” she explained. “I was exhausted and nauseous all the time.”
Erin Lichy says she’s a “psychopath” for having four kids in NYC
In an interview with BravoTV.com in November, Erin revealed that she was taken by surprise when she learned she was pregnant. And, she acknowledged just how hard it can be to raise three children in Manhattan.
“I’m a psychopath, clearly,” she joked. “[Abe and I] did not talk this through. We do have a lot of sex, and sometimes it ends up in a child! So, yep, here we go. Four kids in the city.”
How did Erin Lichy find out she was pregnant?
After her prior pregnancies, Erin was quite familiar with the symptoms, which urged her to take the pregnancy test. “I was out East with Abe and some friends when I suddenly became super sensitive to smells around me,” she told People. “That’s when I knew — I thought, ‘Damn, here we go again!'”
What do Erin Lichy’s kids think about her new addition?
It’s safe to say that Erin and Abe’s children were just as excited about her pregnancy than she was. Erin admitted to People on Nov. 25 that all three kids “begged” her for another sibling. “They were begging me to get pregnant. Begging,” she said.
She said that the kids even had a conversation with her, where they said, “Please we really want another baby!” she recalled. “I’m like, ‘You do? That means less toys, less attention. What’s wrong with you?’ They wanted it!”
Erin Lichy’s update on her marriage to Abe Lichy
With baby number four on the way, Erin admitted to BravoTV.com in November that her marriage to Abe was stronger than ever. “We are good,” she said. “We are solid. We, god willing, will always be.”
But she joked that Abe has to run his financial decisions by her (after he sold some of their Bitcoin without her knowledge during RHONY Season 15). “He better not make any financial decisions without me, I can tell you that much,” she said. “Because that will be really — I’ll be like, ‘You now have to care for this child and breastfeed instead of me.'”
Abe Lichy says their lives revolve around their kids
In an Oct. 2023 interview with The Daily Dish, Abe opened up about how they make their children their number one priority. “Our lives really do revolve around our family,” he said. “We spend a lot of time with our children. On the show, there are all these snippets of us, you know, how can we get away from the kids? And like, yes, we love our alone time, but what doesn’t get shown is the fact that we’re always with our kids because we love them, and we love doing things with our kids.”
What Erin Lichy is looking forward to most postpartum
In addition to being so excited to meet her new addition, Erin told People what meal she was looking forward to most after giving birth. “Mostly, I’m just looking forward to enjoying a Mezcalum cocktail and going out to a massive sushi dinner again!” she told the publication.
Here’s to lots of newborn baby cuddles, cocktails, and sushi dinners in 2025!
