Perkins Coie asked U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell on Wednesday to permanently block President Donald Trump’s executive order targeting the firm, noting “catastrophic and unrecoverable economic harm” should it stand.
Meanwhile, the government moved to dismiss Perkins Coie’s complaint, as well as ask the court to reconsider “the scope” of the temporary restraining order Howell issued on March 12.
