Tesla has introduced a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version of its Cybertruck electric pickup. The price tag is $72,235, including a mandatory delivery fee ($1,995) and an order fee ($250). That’s $10,000 less than the previous low-end price.
The RWD model, known as the Cybertruck Long Range, boasts a range of 350 miles between charges. That’s better than other Cybertrucks but still on the low end for electric pickups. GM’s 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV is capable of up to 492 miles, properly equipped. The Rivian R1T can travel up to 420 miles before plugging in.
Tesla has not revealed a horsepower rating for the Cybertruck Long Range at this time. The company claims a 0-60 mph time of 6.2 seconds, 2.1 seconds slower than the Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
The Cybertruck debuted to unprecedented fanfare in 2023. At launch, Tesla claimed to have more than a million reservations for its futuristic, stainless-steel-clad pickup. However, few reservations turned into orders, with sales peaking at just over 5,300 a month last September.
The company now has so many unsold Cybertrucks in stock that it has reportedly begun refusing its own vehicle as a trade-in.
