Gigi Hadid’s recent 30th birthday took her followers deeper inside her relationship with her famous parents, Yolanda Hadid and Mohamed Hadid. While Yolanda and Mohamed may be long divorced, they remain proud co-parents to their three adult kids, Gigi as well as Bella, and Anwar. And, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and her ex (virtually) came together earlier this week to mark Gigi’s milestone birthday moment. And, yes, you can bet it left Gigi in her feelings.
Yolanda kicked off the tributes to Gigi on April 23 with a lengthy and emotional ode to her eldest daughter. “Happy birthday to my big girl,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thirty years went by in a flash, 10,950 days to be exact, but there hasn’t been one day without you on my mind.”

From there, Yolanda used the occasion of Gigi’s birthday to not only reflect on three decades together, but also share some insight into her daughter’s life today.
“As you know giving birth to your first born is life changing, it really marks the first day of the rest of your life as you transition from womanhood into the blessing of motherhood. Today is your special day and I want to say thank for choosing me to be your mommy and for all the love, light and reflection you have brought into my life,” Yolanda wrote.
She continued, “When I look at pictures of our journey I feel so much gratitude for the incredible memories we have created together… You just crack me up with the biggest smile because no matter what I threw at you, you would go for it without hesitation. Wether it was skiing, horseback riding, surfing, skating, para sailing. It was never too big, too high or too fast. You were magically fearless…. and that extraordinary courage and determination shines through in everything you do in life. I love you, I treasure you and I’m so proud of the woman that you are, my biggest joy is watching you do motherhood. Your love and passion for Khai fills my heart with so much pride. Thank you for sharing this most precious gift of life with me.”
Yolanda’s sweeping message for Gigi got her daughter’s stamp of approval. Gigi commented, “I love you mama. Thank you for 30 years of life and love. Happy Birth Day.”

Of course, proud dad, Mohamed, did not pass up the opportunity to also pay homage to his daughter. “Yes she was a baby. An angel.. the happiest birthday my baby girl. You are a breath of fresh air and goodness and kindness,” Mohamed wrote on Instagram. “We love you so much.”
Gigi kept her message back to her dad short and sweet, commenting, “Love you baba.”
