Kirkland & Ellis has acted on more than 20 KKR mandates in the U.K. and Europe in the first few months of 2025, in total worth in excess of £10 billion, according to a person with knowledge of the firm.
As well as closing deals for other clients, including Blackstone and TPG, the firm has maintained a solid stream of work from its longstanding client KKR. This is despite transactional activity showing signs of strain, with shares in major private equity players like Apollo Global Management and Blackstone down more than 20% since the start of the year.
