The FBI on Friday arrested Milwaukee Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly obstructing an immigrant arrest and deportation operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in an action broadly condemned by Democratic Wisconsin lawmakers.
The 13-page criminal complaint filed against Dugan on April 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin accuses the Wisconsin judge of concealing and impeding the arrest of Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an immigrant to the United States from Mexico who faced three counts of domestic violence charges and was scheduled to attend a hearing in his criminal case before Dugan on April 18.
