Erin Lichy is sharing new insight into her real estate career after Brynn Whitfield said she hadn’t sold a house in seven years.

    How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo and Peacock.

Brynn, who is a marketing consultant, threw some shade at her castmates from The Real Housewives of New York City when she appeared on the April 14 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast.

After saying she was the only cast member who “works a full-time job on [her] cast,” which also includes Erin, Ubah Hassan, Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Racquel Chevremont, and Jessel Taank, she said there was a real estate agent on the show who “hasn’t sold a house in seven years.”

Erin responded to Brynn’s comment on her podcast, Come Together with Erin and Abe Lichy.

“People reached out to me to comment and I just said no, because I don’t want to give her that. Which, by the way, I’m assuming that’s the reason why she was saying all that, to get the buzz,” the mom of four said. “I don’t really know why else you would. But, she said we have a real estate agent that hasn’t sold anything in seven years.”

Erin then revealed that she did make a seven-figure real estate sale in the summer of 2024.

“First of all, I closed on something this summer that was over four million dollars, number one. Number two, I don’t talk about that because that’s just not who I am… I’m doing real estate transactions very quietly because it’s really not my main job right now,” Erin continued. “It’s not at all; it’s not where I’m going in my life. So, when I do a real estate transaction, I don’t talk about it.”

What does Erin Lichy do for a living?

In addition to being a real estate agent, Erin co-hosts her podcast, Come Together, which launched in April 2025. She and her husband, Abe Lichy, are also partners of Mezcalum, a mezcal brand, and she has an interior design studio called Erin’s Studio.

    What is Brynn Whitfield’s job?

Brynn is a marketing and communications consultant, and she’s the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of a dating app called Hoppy.

Brynn opened up about her career during an interview with BravoTV.com. “So, I get up every morning, and I go on Slack,” she said. “And then I send emails, and I make decks. I’m not anything like glamorous. I’m not starting an alcohol brand, or I’m not working in fashion, so I’m not a street influencer, so it’s like I don’t have anything visual to show.”

“Like most Americans it’s just like 9 to 5 sit in front of a desk and count the time until I can go get coffee or lunch,” she continued. “There’s not anything glamorous about being a consultant.”
