A Michigan law firm has been ordered by a judge to scale back its penchant for dragon imagery on court documents.
“Dragon Lawyers PC,” a firm in East Lansing whose web site only names Jacob Perrone as one of their attorneys, submitted a motion to the District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Southern Division, on behalf of a client who was treated with “deliberate indifference” while being held at Clinton County Jail pending a bond violation hearing. Every page of every motion submitted by Dragon Lawyers was watermarked with a cartoon depiction of a snarling multicolored dragon wearing a suit.
