Law students in the class of 2024 clocked nearly 5 million pro bono hours during their three years in law school, according to a recent nationwide survey by the Association of American Law Schools (AALS).
Altogether, 82 law schools across the U.S. reported 18,929 students in the graduating class of 2024 contributed more than 4.7 million hours in legal services as part of their legal education, according to the survey, which was conducted last fall.
