Madison LeCroy’s special day began with a thoughtful — and delicious — surprise.
The Southern Charm cast member returned to Instagram this weekend (May 11) to share the first moments of her Mother’s Day. While lying in bed, the expectant mom whipped out her phone and began filming her bedroom door. It was initially unclear what Madison was waiting for, but a few seconds later, her son, Hudson, slowly entered the room with a breakfast tray in hand.
“Woke up to the sweetest surprise from my baby boy,” she captioned the clip. “I feel so loved.”

The 12-year-old boy, whom Madison shares with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes, then turned on the lights and placed the home-cooked meal on her bed. Needless to say, Madison was moved by the gesture.
“Ah, are you serious? Hudson, look at you!” she said. “You did all of this by yourself? Oh my gosh. I love you. Thank you.”
The breakfast included a croissant sandwich with a side of bacon, a cup of applesauce, and a bottle of orange juice.
How Madison LeCroy celebrated Mother’s Day with her mom
Madison shared her Mother’s Day plans during her April 28 Amazon Live stream, revealing she and her mom, Tara LeCroy, celebrated a bit early this year.
“My mom and I just had a little weekend,” she said. “We did lunch. I took her to get some Botox. She’s very new at this. I’m sure she’s watching and about to kill me for just outing her, but the woman has never had anything done and looks so good that I’m not worried about my future… We had a good little time together.”
Madison LeCroy reveals how Hudson is preparing for his baby sister
Mother’s Day 2025 came at an exciting and busy time for Madison and her family. The South Carolina native recently sold her Charleston home and is preparing to move into a bigger house with Hudson and her husband, Brett Randle. She confirmed the big news back in March, just a month after announcing she was pregnant with baby No. 2.
“Let’s just say….it’s exactly what we need,” she told The Daily Dish about her new home. “More space, more charm, and plenty of room for our family to grow.”
Madison and Brett are expected to welcome their daughter in the next several months, either in late July or early August.
The Southern Charm-er spoke about the family addition in a February interview with Parents magazine, revealing how Hudson reacted to the baby sister news.
“I screamed when I found out it was a girl, so Hudson and [Brett] were like, ‘She’s excited, so we have to get on board with this,’” she told the outlet. “But who’s to say I don’t just keep going? I mean, maybe the next one will be a boy.”
Madison also revealed how Hudson has “stepped into the big brother role.”
“[He’s] talking about what he’s going to teach the baby and how he’s going to help,” she said.. “It really does melt my heart. The other day I got a stroller, one of many, and he helped me put it together.”
