Though he hasn’t claimed the top of the Formula 1 podium this season, Charles Leclerc is still a winner—in the watch world, that is.

The Ferrari driver has teamed up with Richard Mille to launch the RM72-01 “Charles Leclerc” edition. The new timepiece, which is a spin on the watchmaker’s automatic flyback chronograph, was launched rather quietly, even though Leclerc has been donning the wrist candy for weeks, Hodinkee reported.

With the new iteration, you’re getting a white-quartz TPT case with red strips, in an homage to Leclerc’s hometown of Monaco and its flag. Those red-and-white hues extend over to the skeletonized chronograph display, which forgoes numbers for the hours and instead focuses on racing-inspired chronograph counters. The black crown, meanwhile, mimics the twisting movement of a tire underneath an F1 car’s acceleration. The date window is also highlighted with a red-and-white frame, and the nearly 40 mm timepiece has a water resistance to about 100 feet (30 meters).

As for its juice, the RM72-01 “Charles Leclerc” gets that from the caliber CRMC-1. Richard Mille’s flyback chronograph offers up 60-minute and 24-hour counters, running seconds, and a 50-hour power reserve. In addition to its column-wheel control system and double tilting pinion clutch system, the timepiece runs at 28,800 vph and uses a platinum rotor with ceramic bearings, Hodinkee reported.

And while the watch world has had a Formula 1 obsession as of late—as brands compete for supremacy in the sport—this watch actually flew under the radar for a time, with Leclerc wearing it all the way back at the Bahrain GP a month ago without anyone really noticing. The cat’s out of the bag now, so if you’re interested in the new timepiece, you better move like an F1 car. Only 150 pieces of the RM72-01 “Charles Leclerc” will be up for grabs, with a $300,000 price tag. Some are already being delivered to customers, according to Hodinkee, and we bet they’ll get snapped up quickly.
