Read the Verdict: Federal Jury Finds Amgen Liable in Drug Monopolization Case


A Delaware federal trial jury found Thousand Oaks, California-based drug company Amgen Inc. liable Thursday for federal and state antitrust violations amounting to more than $400 million in damages.

The jury awarded the plaintiff and rival drug company Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. $135.6 million dollars of compensatory damages and $271.2 million dollars in punitive damages.
