The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has granted a motion by plaintiffs in a terrorism-related lawsuit on Friday to serve Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao through his domestic U.S. counsel after international service attempts proved unsuccessful.
George S. Georgiev, an incoming professor of law at the University of Miami School of Law who is not involved in the litigation, noted that the primary purpose of the service of process requirement is to provide notice.
