Amazon to Drive Traffic to Its Outlet on Memorial Day


Amazon invited sellers to discount their excess goods and take advantage of its Memorial Day Amazon Outlet campaign. “You can gain enhanced visibility for your active or upcoming deals running on excess inventory with Amazon Outlet merchandising through May 26, 2025,” Amazon announced.

Amazon sellers who are willing to offer 30% off their excess inventory will be eligible for inclusion in the Amazon Outlet landing page alongside all outlet deals. A banner on the Amazon homepage will drive customers directly to the Amazon Outlet landing page “so you gain increased visibility and traffic for your products,” Amazon told sellers on Tuesday.

One seller responded to the announcement, advising colleagues to be cautious about participating since there could be shipping delays in the days surrounding Memorial Day (which is a postal holiday).
