A dispute has broken out in federal court over how rapidly Jim Blose, the former bank general counsel convicted of embezzling $7.4 million from a trio of financial institutions in the Northeast, should have to make full restitution.
Blose agreed to pay back all the money he stole under a plea agreement he signed in December. Last month, a federal judge in Connecticut ordered him to serve four years in prison, a sentence he’ll begin June 23.
