Kia Drops Prices on Some 2026 EV9 Models

There’s a lot to like about the Kia EV9 3-row electric SUV, but its price often gets in the way.

The 2025 EV9 has personality to spare, with traditional SUV looks filtered through a fractal design that suggests you somehow drove it back from 10 years in the future. The sharp design carries over inside, with clear interior touches like see-through mesh headrests that help parents see the back seats. We like it so much that we named it our 3-Row EV Best Buy of 2025.

However, it starts at $56,395 (including a mandatory $1,495 delivery fee) and reaches nearly $80,000 fully equipped.

The market has few options for drivers looking for three rows and electric power. But some find it hard to swallow a Kia at luxury car prices.

They’ll have an easier time in 2026, as Kia has dropped prices on many EV9 trim levels.

The point of entry stays the same, at $56,395. But other trim levels see a cut as big as $2,000.

2026 Kia EV9 Pricing

Trim Level 2025 MSRP + $1,495 Destination Fee 2026 MSRP + $1,495 Destination Fee Price Change
EV9 Light Standard Range  $56,395 $56,395 $0
EV9 Light Long Range  $61,395 $59,395 -$2,000
EV9 Wind  $65,395 $65,395 $0
EV9 Land  $71,395 $70,395 -$1,000
EV9 GT-Line  $75,395 $73,395 -$2,000

The price drop is all the more remarkable given on-again, off-again American tariffs. Kia currently builds some EV9 models in its home market of South Korea, and others in the U.S.

Changes for 2026 are modest, with a darkened-trim Nightfall package available on the Land trim level and very modest range improvements at most trim levels.
