A former chair and CEO of Canadian law firm McCarthy Tétrault is the new chief of staff to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Carney announced Sunday that Marc-André Blanchard will begin his new role on July 1, replacing interim chief of staff Marco Mendocino, a former cabinet minister who had been doing the job on an interim basis.
