A cute dress is my go-to way to instantly feel put together throughout the year, but there’s something special about shopping for sundresses during the summer. I’m drawn to bright colors, floral patterns, and midi lengths, and Target has more than 10,200 dresses to choose from. Needless to say, I found plenty of options to add to my closet at Target, so shop my 15 favorites below, starting at $13.

    Target Summer Sundresses Under $50

    • Universal Thread Puff Short-Sleeve Midi Wrap Dress, $45
    • Universal Thread ¾-Sleeve Midi Shirtdress, $35
    • Universal Thread Poplin Maxi Shirtdress, $45
    • Universal Thread Eyelet Maxi Sundress, $38
    • A New Day Ruffle-Sleeve Satin Maxi Dress, $35
    • Universal Thread Short-Sleeve Button-Front Mini A-Line Dress, $30
    • A New Day Seersucker Maxi A-Line Dress, $35
    • Universal Thread Bell Elbow Sleeve Mini A-Line Dress, $30
    • A New Day Drop Waist Mini Dress, $30
    • A New Day Knit Mini Ballet Dress, $15

Target always has cute finds to shop, but the summer is my favorite season to add new styles to my closet. This year, the retailer has embraced prints, varied lengths, and options for  casual wear and wedding guest-ready events, and I didn’t have any trouble finding 15 under-$50 dresses to add to my wish list.

At the top is this Universal Thread Puff Short-Sleeve Midi Wrap Dress that has a darling floral print and a tie at the waist. I’m also impressed with this A New Day Ruffle-Sleeve Satin Maxi Dress that’s perfect to wear to a wedding, and I immediately thought of Audrey Hepburn when I spotted this A New Day Drop Waist Mini Dress.

There are plenty more options to add to your cart, including a classic butter yellow shirtdress, so keep reading to round out your summer wardrobe.

How classic is this midi wrap dress? I’m obsessed with its mid-calf length that’s long enough to wear to the office and events with sandals or wedges when you need to dress up, but still short enough to pair with sneakers when you want to look and feel more casual. Score the 100% cotton style in red floral, light pink floral, or black paisley for $45.

A timeless shirtdress is always a great idea, and this midi option that’s in stock in blue stripes, pink, white, and pillow looks far more expensive than its $35 price point. The 55% linen and 45% rayon style has three-quarter length sleeves, front buttons, and a high-low hem. Wear it as-is, or cinch the waist with a belt to create a more defining look.

This darling maxi shirtdress just launched at Target, and I suspect it’ll sell out quickly. It’s sleeveless, making it cool and ideal to wear even on the hottest days of the season, and it has a collar to make it a little more preppy. The front buttons, tie-waist, and tiered design are also standout features of this sundress, which you can score in yellow or red.

No one will ever believe that you found this detailed, classic dress at Target for under $40, which is exactly why you need to add it to your closet. The eyelet details, scalloped hemline, and neutral cream and black colors all combine to make this versatile style one you can wear to the office, bridal and baby showers, and even to the farmers market. Just add sandals, and you’re ready to go.

Wedding season is here, and if you’re searching for a dress you can wear to nearly any celebration, this $35 style is it. The 100% polyester dress has a satiny finish that helps to dress it up, and the ruffles on the front and back of the dress help to make it feel even more unique and special. The black dress is my favorite because it’s so classic and timeless, but it’s also available in cream, cream floral, and mint.

Target’s dresses are notorious for selling out, so make sure to shop your favorites early in order to score your preferred size, color, and pattern. Keep reading below for even more sundresses under $50.
