Erika Jayne finally set the record straight about where she stands with Summer House’s Jesse Solomon after rumors began swirling last month.
The two were photographed at a private cocktail party in New York City in May and since then Erika addressed the speculation on the June 13 episode of Diamonds in the Rough, Erika’s podcast series with RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp.
“I guess you allegedly made out with Jesse,” Teddi told her co-host.
“First of all, no, the alleged hookup would have taken place, they said, at Watch What Happens Live in New York City after Upfronts,” Erika said. “I was at home. But here’s the thing: Was I flirting with two men [at Upfronts]? The answer is, yes, I was. Would I have preferred to take two home instead of one? Yeah.”
Erika then went on to add, “I can’t. But my point is… for once in a decade, I actually talked to people that we work with, because I’m such a bitch every other time. You know me. But I’m trying to do more social things.”
Erika added, “I wish I had something exciting to tell you, but I don’t.”
Erika Jayne shares an update on her dating life
Erika shed more light on her romantic life in a January interview with The Daily Dish. The mother of one, who has yet to finalize her divorce from Tom Girardi, said she had spent time focusing on self-care and was at a stage where she was ready to date again.
“I have done a lot of work on myself and pulling myself together, rebuilding my life,” she said. “[It’s] a time to be open and to have fun.”
She has also addressed her dating life on her Diamonds in the Rough podcast, including what she looks for in a potential mate. “I never look at men and find them attractive. I always say this. I’m never looking at the way someone looks, necessarily. I’m always looking at the feeling I get from them,” she explained last November.
