It’s summer drink season, and new seasonal recipes are making their rounds across social media (we’re partial to the Spa Spritz, of course)—but one bubbly cocktail from across the pond has everyone’s attention: the Sarti Spritz. The pink tropical drink is light, effervescent, and quickly gaining a following—but getting your hands on a bottle of its main aperitif isn’t so easy.
Fortunately, there’s another similarly-flavored—and more importantly, pink!—aperitif liqueur to the rescue. Here’s how to use Ramazzotti Rosato to make a Sarti-inspired drink for your next happy hour or chilled-out afternoon by the pool.

What’s a Sarti Spritz?
Sarti is a premium spirits brand in Italy that makes an aperitif liqueur called Rosa, which is the main component of the Sarti Spritz. It’s made with Sicilian blood oranges and other tropical fruits for a summery, light flavor. According to Sarti, its liqueur is sweet, fruity, and a little bit sour.
Sarti Aperitivo
To make a classic Sarti Spritz, fill a large wine glass with ice. Add about 2 ounces of Sarti Rosa, then top with 2 to 3 ounces of chilled Prosecco (or your sparkling wine of choice) and a splash of soda water. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge. The steps seem simple enough—if only you could find the main bottle needed to complete it.
Unfortunately, if you live in the U.S., it may be hard to get a bottle of Sarti Rosa since it’s not regularly stocked. (At the time of writing, Sarti Rosa isn’t listed by major American retailers.) Some specialty importers may carry it, but quantities are limited, and restocks are unpredictable. If you try to get it shipped from overseas, the shipping alone could cost you as much as the bottle, according to what influencer and author Eli Rallo said in a TikTok that’s gotten over 86,000 likes.
Aperitivo Rosato Alternative
Tried and still can’t secure a bottle of Sarti Rosa? There’s a widely available alternative that will give you a comparable summer sip. Ramazzotti’s Aperitivo Rosato is a light aperitif liqueur featuring orange blossom and hibiscus, giving it the fruity notes of Sarti Rosa with the addition of floral undertones. Unlike Sarti Rosa, Aperitivo Rosato is distributed in the U.S. and can be found online, in stores, or at select boutique wine shops.
Here’s how to use it to create an even lighter summer spritz:
- Add ice to a wine glass, then add around 2 ounces of Aperitivo Rosato.
- Top with around 4 ounces of tonic water.
- Squeeze a lime slice before dropping it into the glass.
Ramazzott’s Aperitivo Rosato has a 15% ABV (alcohol by volume), which puts it a few points higher than lighter aperitifs like Aperol (11%) and lower than Campari (24%). Flavor-wise, Ramazzotti Rosato is more floral than Campari and sweeter than Aperol.
