The company tells federal safety officials that the left rear door latches on some Broncos may have been installed wrong, causing some interference between components. Parents can set the child lock to the “on” position, but it may not engage.
Dealers will inspect the door latches and replace internal components if necessary to fix the problem.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
