He’s a mystery man no more! Although she referred to her beau simply as “Amsterdam” while on The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast trip to Grenada, Cynthia Bailey was ready to share all of the details about her boyfriend, Amsterdam-based musician LePrince, during Part 1 of the RHOA Season 16 reunion.
“I was looking for a king, but I got a prince,” she said. “He DJs. He also sings. And he also MCs.”
Host Andy Cohen jumped right in, asking Cynthia about the age gap between her and her boyfriend.
“He’s 39,” the 58-year-old shared. Porsha Williams was impressed, commenting, “That’s a good age.”
Andy also pointed out that Phaedra Parks is dating a younger man, 32-year-old Cheick, and joked of Phaedra and Cynthia, “This is the giggly squad, and we know why.”
“Now I know why y’all smiling ear to ear,” Porsha added.

Cynthia opened up during the season about what else she loves about her boyfriend’s youth.
“Amsterdam is nothing like you would ever, ever, ever expect me to be with,” she said in Episode 13. “He is very tall. He has long dreads. He’s a great kisser. He’s a wonderful lover. You know, he’s younger than me, so he’s always ready. Get it in. All the time.”

Cynthia has traveled great lengths to be with LePrince—including his hometown of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
“I went to visit him over the holidays, and he was performing in Switzerland, so I went with him to Switzerland and got to see him in his moment doing his thing,” she shared on the After Show.

Cynthia explained that LePrince is a “hard-style” musician.
“He created his own little thing. It’s called reggaetronics,” she told The Daily Dish in an interview. “He does reggae and he also does techno and the hard-style and he combines it, or he’s just doing straight hard-style. He is very well known in Amsterdam for his music. He’s considered one of the legends of hard-style and in Europe over there.”
But Cynthia added that his performance is much more than that.
“He’s insane. Like, he does flips,” she said in the interview. “He jumps on tables and the DJ stand and he’s doing flips and throws himself into the audience and they throw him back on the stage. Like, he’s out of his mind. ‘Cause he’s very shy.”
She admitted she wasn’t completely into his style of music until they started dating.
“If you told me that I would be dating literally a rockstar, a young rockstar from Amsterdam, traveling the world, going to all of these crazy festivals with him, I would be like, ‘You’re out of your mind.’ Like, that was not on my bingo card. So, it’s been fun just going into his world,” she said. “It’s a wild ride.”

Cynthia’s relationship history has played out over the years on RHOA, since she joined the show in 2010 during Season 3. She co-parented her daughter, Noelle, with Leon Robinson, and also married twice, to now ex-husbands Peter Thomas and Mike Hill. But in March, she finally went public with LePrince after they were spotted together.
“I had been dating a little bit, but it’s hard out here in these dating streets,” she shared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show. “When I least expected it, I actually met Amsterdam. My first Taurus. He has been so intentional, so consistent, so sweet, so nice to me.”
