Gia Giudice has grown up before the reality television cameras, and she knows she has big shoes and expectations to fill with a mother like The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice. In fact, she admitted that her famous mom influenced how she acted during the debut season of Next Gen NYC.

“I know people wanted to see my fiery, Italian side. Teresa Giudice is my mom, after all,” she told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview.

But now she’s opening up about the other side she wants the audience to see.

“I also want fans to see how hard I work and that I’m passionate about being a young entrepreneur and setting an example for my sisters,” she explained.

How Gia Giudice feels about her experience on Next Gen NYC

Gia told The Daily Dish that watching the season back gave her a “new perspective.”

“I’ve learned to be more mindful and not as quick to react,” she continued. “I also realized that I sometimes naturally go in to ‘older sister protective mode’ instead of letting my hair down and just going with the flow.”

Gia didn’t delve into specifics, but fans watched her experience her fair share of ups and downs throughout Season 1 of Next Gen NYC alongside castmates Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy, and Charlie Zakkour.

As such, “I definitely want people to be able to see more sides to my personality, especially the light-hearted side,” Gia added.

What did Gia Giudice learn from filming Season 1 of Next Gen NYC?

“Every episode gave me more insight into how I come across and how I want to grow,” Gia told The Daily Dish. “I’m passionate and always stand up for what I believe in, but I’m learning that I don’t always need to insert myself into everything.”

However, despite any conflicts, Gia believes she showed her true self. As she put it, “I want this show to reflect who I really am — someone who loves her family, works hard, and is building something meaningful. I’m grateful for the support I’ve received as well as the growth opportunities that have come from this experience.”
