Walmart Offers Zero Commissions on Toys, Waives Peak-Storage Fees

Walmart Marketplace is offering sellers some incentives ahead of the busy holiday shopping season, including waiving Fulfillment peak-storage fees from October through the end of December (note that’s peak storage fees, not all storage fees).

Walmart is also enticing sellers to list toys by offering zero commission fees on qualifying toy listings through December 31, and it’s offering a 50% discount on commission fees for qualifying pet products.

Walmart told sellers that its Assortment Growth dashboard “makes it easy for sellers to identify customer favorites, the most-searched and best-selling items. Now sellers across categories can enjoy up to 100% off referral fees on customer favorite items with competitive prices and fast shipping.”

Walmart is also offering first-time users of its Multichannel Solutions (MCS) a 30% discount through October 1st. And it said sellers now have access to two new ports in Vietnam, “offering seamless international fulfillment directly to Walmart’s network.”

Walmart said the launches were its way of saying thank you and ensuring sellers “have every advantage heading into the holidays.” The offers are available for a limited time – see the full July 31st blog post on Walmart.com.
