eBay Seller Tool Auctiva, Under New Ownership, Upgrades Platform

Auctiva upgraded its platform used by eBay sellers and announced it received fresh investment under new ownership. Attendees of this week’s eBay Open seller conference will be able to meet the team and review the new product upgrades and provide feedback to the team for continued development.

In addition to advanced automation, deeper eBay integration, and AI-powered SEO and listing tools to streamline selling, Auctiva has new support for eBay’s Negotiation API that enables sellers to send personalized offers to interested buyers.

“These targeted offers help sellers convert more potential buyers into completed sales, reduce excess inventory, and do so without resorting to broad store-wide discounts,” Auctiva said in Monday’s press release. “Offers can be tailored, include custom messaging, and remain valid for up to four days in supported marketplaces, making this a smarter and more dynamic way to drive revenue.”

Auctiva was founded in 1998 in California by Jeff Schlicht to help expedite the eBay listing process with its desktop software and moved to a web-based service in 2005. In 2010, it was acquired by Alibaba.com.

Auctiva joined Starr Holding Company, which was formed in January 2025, in March along with sister companies Vendio.com and Storenvy.
