Vlad Doronin’s Aman New York nabbed a resale for a premium.

Unit 16A at 730 Fifth Avenue traded for $28 million in an off-market deal, up from the $24 million the seller paid for it two years ago, according to the city register. The latest deal for the three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit works out to roughly $6,300 per square foot.

The deal marks another profitable flip at the luxury hotel-condo conversion, though it’s a far cry from its priciest sale — a $135 million penthouse Doronin bought for himself last summer.

Just weeks later, the building snagged its first resale, when a 23rd-floor unit closed for $64 million, or more than $10,000 per square foot. Doronin’s OKO Group initially sold the four-bedroom apartment for $51 million, or roughly $8,000 per square foot, earlier that year.

The seller of the 16th-floor unit, whose identity is shielded by an anonymous LLC called NYPC Crown, bought it for roughly $3 million less than the asking price listed in the offering plan.

The buyer’s identity is also hidden by an LLC known as Boldt Castle, named after a castle in upstate Alexandria Bay that was commissioned in the early 20th century by George Boldt, the owner of the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The deed was signed by Marcella Marcal Dos Santos.

An attorney for the seller did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Billionaires’ Row development crossed the sellout finish line in January, when the last of 22 units atop the landmarked Crown Building closed for $66 million. Sales at the building launched quietly in 2018 with buyers at the building including a Swiss money manager and Hong Kong-based private equity executive Terence Chan.

Doronin, through a partnership with developer Michael Shvo, purchased the office portion of the building for $475 million in 2015. Shvo was no longer a part of the project by 2017, though he kept a small stake.
