Faire announced Aug. 26 its expansion into New Zealand and 14 additional European countries, bringing its global footprint to nearly 35 markets.

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace connecting independent retailers and brands.

The move comes as many of these markets, including Bulgaria and Romania, emerge as some of Europe’s fastest-growing retail economies, yet historically lacked access to international suppliers. Faire’s platform now enables retailers in cities such as Athens, Krakow, and Ljubljana to source curated global products with the same ease as shops in Paris or New York.

    The European expansion includes:

    • Bulgaria
    • Croatia
    • Cyprus
    • Czech Republic
    • Estonia
    • Greece
    • Hungary
    • Latvia
    • Lithuania
    • Malta
    • Poland
    • Romania
    • Slovakia
    • Slovenia

Faire’s expansion into New Zealand and Europe

Over 35,000 retailers in the new markets have joined Faire’s waitlist, while brands in these countries have listed more than 115,000 products, highlighting robust early demand.

“Independent retailers are the heart of local economies,” said Max Rhodes, co-founder and CEO of Faire. “This expansion doubles our reach across Europe and extends our community into New Zealand, giving thousands more shop owners access to the products, tools, and support they need to grow.”

Since its European launch, Faire has processed more than 2 million orders across the continent, with retailers spending nearly $500 million. The platform hosts over 100,000 brands globally, offering flexible 60-day payment terms, simplified logistics, and personalized product recommendations.

Brands such as Lithuania-based Linen Tales, which joined Faire in 2019, have used the platform to expand internationally, achieving over $3 million in order volume and reaching 2,000 retailers worldwide.

The New Zealand launch follows Faire’s successful 2022 entry into Australia, where more than 10,000 retailers and 4,000 brands transact on the platform. The expansion strengthens Faire’s presence in Oceania, connecting Australian brands with new regional markets and giving New Zealand retailers access to a global network of suppliers.

Faire has invested in international operations, including multi-language support, localized currency and value-added tax (VAT) handling, and a robust logistics infrastructure. Its UK headquarters employ roughly 100 staff to support European markets.

With this rollout, Faire continues its push to make wholesale more accessible and borderless, positioning independent retailers to compete on a global scale.
