The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit reversed a prejudgment interest award of more than $6 million on a $27 million jury verdict against an insurance company, after concluding the district court erred in calculating the interest based on the invoice payment date, rather than on the dates the payments were demanded.
