Vicki Gunvalson abides by the “work hard, play hard” philosophy.
When she isn’t busy expanding her multi-pronged business empire, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is often found whooping it up with her closet friends and family. Vicki continued that habit earlier this month when she and her boyfriend, Michael Smith, embarked on a Spanish getaway that also served as a mini-family reunion.

Vicki spoke about the trip during the September 10 episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, confirming her son, Mike Wolfsmith, is currently living in Ibiza. She recalled one wild night in which she and Michael accompanied her son and his girlfriend, Sarah, to a popular “hyperclub” known for its weekly residencies and one-off shows.
“It was crazy. And anybody that’s been to Ibiza knows it’s not a normal city. It’s like, go out at 2 a.m., come home at 7 a.m.,” Vicki recalled. “He made us go to this place called UNVRS. I go, ‘Where are we going?’ [Mike] is like, ‘This is rave.’ 15,00 people every night… Michael and I went there to support my son.”

Vicki said the venue looked like a three-level construction zone packed with revelers. She confessed she was a little put off by the rowdy scene and electronic music.
“It was literally like you were at Disneyland. It’s bizarre,” she said. “There’s a DJ in the middle of the bathroom… Ballerinas coming out of the ceiling.”
She and Michael left the nightclub after an hour and had no intentions of ever going back.

A day after the UNVRS experience, Michael said goodbye to Vicki and headed back to work. The former Housewife remained in Spain for several more days, most of which were spent in Mallorca with her son, Mike, and his girlfriend, Sarah. Vicki said they rented a car and traveled around the island, enjoying scenic hikes and sun-soaked beach days. She shared a peek at the activities in a September 18 Instagram carousel.

“Sun, blue water, and my favorite people,” she captioned the post. “This trip was all about family, laughter, and making memories that last a lifetime.”
Before heading back to California, Vicki asked her son when he planned on returning to the States; Mike told his mom that he now considers Europe his home, which Vicki admittedly struggled to accept.
“I’m like, ‘No, son. This is not home. You have to come back,’” she recalled.
