While there’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding Lala Kent and Scheana Shay’s friendship, it appears their little girls are still BFFs. Fans got another glimpse at the bond on Saturday, September 20, when Scheana posted the cutest Instagram Story of her daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, and Lala’s firstborn, Ocean Kent Emmett.

The photo, which was shared on Summer Moon’s account, showed the Vanderpump Rules daughters smiling ear to ear while rocking nearly identical outfits. They each sported a Gabby’s Dollhouse graphic tee, a matching purple skirt, and a headband with cat ears. The only differences appeared to be their sneaker selection and accessories.
Lala reshared the snap in her Instagram Stories, where she also posted a clip of Summer Moon and Ocean hanging out with their group of friends.

Where do Lala Kent and Scheana Shay stand today?
The update came amid Lala and Scheana’s rumored fallout, fueled by a series of vague podcast and interview comments. Although the former castmates have repeatedly said they still “love” one another, they’ve suggested their friendship isn’t as strong as it used to be. Scheana hinted at the rift during the August 29 episode of her Scheananigans podcast, when a listener asked why Lala didn’t immediately promote Scheana’s new book, My Good Side.

“I think it was like maybe a week after it came out, I saw [Lala] posted a slide [with the book],” Scheana said. “There was nothing else that she posted. I had reached out to her a couple of days after all of the boxes were delivered. Because, yes, you do expect your closest friends to post and support.”
Lala shed more light on the situation in a September 9 Amazon Live stream, insisting she didn’t know where she stood with her longtime friend.
“I’ll just say Scheana Scheanas and I’m letting Scheana Scheana,” Lala explained. “I don’t know. I’m just here minding my own… I’m going to talk about how I feel about Scheana. I don’t know where her head is at. Scheana is my friend. I love her. I love her family. She is like family to me. I am proud of her; I will say that over and over again because that’s what I mean, and that’s where my heart is.”

Fast-forward to September 17, when Scheana was asked about Lala’s “Scheana Scheanas” comment. Although the Valley mom didn’t provide details, she insinuated that the tensions stemmed from Lala’s actions.
“You know, I didn’t really like that, if I can be honest,” the former SURver said in a red-carpet interview. “I feel like I love her so much, but it’s, like, the subtle digs that I see, and I’m like, ‘I don’t really like that.’ She’s not taking accountability for why Scheana is Scheana-ing at the moment.”
