Long-time patron of the arts Dom Pérignon has unveiled the fruit of its latest collaboration: two limited edition champagne bottles by Japanese illustrator Takashi Murakami.
For these rare bottles, Murakami has put his playful twist on the typically elevated Dom Pérignon branding. Designed very much in tandem with the brand, the artist’s signature smiling cartoon-like flowers adorn each label. One features shades of bright pinks and reds; the other, tones of green. Both the accompanying presentation boxes will be adorned with the same floral design.
“Through my collaboration with Dom Pérignon, I wanted to express a form of time travel. My goal is to remain relevant in 100 or 200 years and to transcend time,” said Murakami. “When the label has aged, and I am gone and my children are gone, I hope that people of the future, when they see it, will reimagine 2025 in their own minds.”
Inside these bottles will be two rare vintages. Most exciting is the previously unreleased Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010. Otherwise unavailable until early 2026, the wine Pinot Noir-heavy vintage has been much anticipated. The second bottle will contain Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 – a punchy wine, marked out for its fruity palate.
The partnership marks the latest of seven in Dom Pérignon’s Eternal Creators campaign, which has seen the Champagne maison work with a series of artists and creators including actor Zoe Kravitz, musician Iggy Pop and chef Clare Smyth.

No stranger to big-name brand collaborations, Murakami’s Kawaii-inspired designs have long intercepted fashion, food and art. Most notable is his longstanding Louis Vuitton partnership, which, to collectors’ delight, was rekindled this summer.
Both Dom Pérignon x Takashi Murakami limited edition bottles are on sale now worldwide. Numbers of each have not been disclosed, but Murakami’s global clout indicates they will be hot property.
