New York’s notoriously sky-high real estate market means a home with sweeping views, a floating staircase, a double-sided fireplace, and a collection of designer-selected furnishings won’t come with anything resembling a bargain price. And for homebuyers who seek flawless interior design without any effort, there’s a high-floor duplex in Midtown Manhattan with interiors by expert Nate Berkus where everything’s already in place, down to the last throw pillow. Offered turnkey with all its furnishings, the condo is on the market for just under $23 million with The Corcoran Group.

The 5,139-square-foot apartment sits nearly 900 feet above Manhattan atop 15 Hudson Yards, where every curve of glass frames the city. From the 26-foot ceiling in the great room to the epic primary suite upstairs, it’s a home that’s as much about how it feels as how it looks. Robb Report got an exclusive first look inside, and what stands out isn’t just the dramatic proportions—it’s the way Berkus has curated antiques from around the world in collaboration with Creative Art Partners and thoughtfully managed to make a space that cavernous feel approachable and intimate.

“The first thing that struck me when designing the penthouse was how the natural light moves throughout the space—the mood completely shifts depending on the time of day,” Berkus tells Robb Report. “I leaned into that by incorporating architectural details and materials that interact with the light—so when the sun hits a patterned rug or grazes the curve of a chair, it feels thoughtful and handsome. Being so high up, the apartment is almost suspended in the sky, and I wanted the design to reflect that. A soft, tonal palette enhances that sense of expansiveness while still grounding the space and making it feel lived-in and inviting.”

Double-height drama defines the duplex. On the lower level, a 670-square-foot great room has a double-sided black slate fireplace. The Bulthaup eat-in kitchen with Miele appliances and the formal dining room balance elegance with functionality. Elsewhere, a white oak floating staircase leads to the upper level, where the primary suite features dual bathrooms and fully built-out dressing rooms by Serie Rare Paris. Three additional en-suite bedrooms, a library or home office, and a private elevator complete the home. Refined finishes include Cristallo stone and Grigio Trambiserra marble.

“Designing a home is deeply personal, and it’s something I never take lightly,” Berkus adds. “Every detail—no matter how small—contributes to the larger story, and in this case, that story was about creating a sanctuary in the sky. Having the opportunity to work on this home and include it in the Nate Berkus Associates portfolio is incredibly meaningful. It reflects the continued evolution of our firm and the way my team and I are always pushing ourselves to grow, explore, and take on new creative challenges.”

Residents of 15 Hudson Yards enjoy over 40,000 square feet of amenities, including a full-floor spa, aquatics center, fitness facilities, wine storage, a golf simulator lounge, private dining suites, and the Skytop rooftop oasis that sits nearly 1,000 feet in the air.

For those drawn to Berkus’s signature aesthetic, there’s another chance to experience his handiwork, but closer to the street level. Earlier this year, he announced The Katharine, his debut residential development in Greenwich Village. The boutique building will offer just eight residences across seven stories, with prices starting at $9.5 million.
