Andrew Rannells’s Chelsea Triplex Feels Like a Little House

Andrew Rannells is selling his beloved Chelsea triplex for $2.395 million. He bought the place in 2018 for only a little less than that $2.1 million — shortly after he ended filming for Girls. “It had a cozy, homey feel to it,” Rannells told the New York Times on Friday, “which was why I immediately jumped on buying it.”

The two-bedroom, two-bath co-op is situated on the top three floors of a four-story Greek Revival on West 24th Street, across from the London Terrace Gardens. The open-concept kitchen and living room on the first floor includes a marble fireplace, farmhouse sink, Bertazzoni four-burner range, and Bosch dishwasher. The primary bedroom is on the top floor with a walk-in closet, terrace, and bathroom with wall-to-wall skylights that, per the listing, makes “it feel as though one is taking an outdoor shower in the middle of Manhattan!” (Is this good?) Monthly maintenance is $3,143.

The living room comes with a marble fireplace as featured in this listing photo.

Rannell’s apartment has an open-concept kitchen, as shown in this living room, that comes with a farmhouse sink and high-end appliances.

The second floor can be turned into two bedrooms, or a bedroom and a study, as shown in this listing photo.

Rannells is selling because he is apparently spending most of his time in Los Angeles with boyfriend Tuc Watkins and Watkins’s two kids. “We just don’t get here as often as I like as much as it pains me,” Rannells told the Times. If you have a few mil. to drop, Rannells’s pain could be your gain.
