Since exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year, the multi-hyphenate has secured a steady stream of entertainment projects. And while the gigs have undoubtedly kept her quite busy, the working mom always makes sure to celebrate her wins with her loved ones.
On Thursday, October 16, Garcelle headed to Los Angeles for the premiere of Taken at a Truck Stop, the third installment of her Black Girl Missing franchise. The Haitian-American actress shared a peek at the “magical night” in a couple of Instagram posts, which showed her on the red carpet alongside two of her sons, Jaid Nilon and Oliver Saunders.
“Last night was absolutely incredible,” she captioned an October 17 carousel. “I want to thank everyone who came out and supported Taken at a Truck Stop.”
She shared more photos and videos just several hours later, and reiterated just how grateful she was for the “love and support.”

Garcelle Beauvais dishes on her latest acting/producing role
Garcelle not only executive-produced Taken at a Truck Stop, but she also starred in it. The mother of three took on the lead role of Kai, a truck driver who is on a mission to find her abducted neurodivergent niece, Toy, played by Sierra Sidwell. Garcelle spoke about her producer-actor title in a recent appearance on California Live.
“First of all, I am having the time of my life. I love staying busy, and this was a labor of love,” she said about the project. “I love this franchise. I make decisions off set, but when I’m on set as an actor, I’m strictly an actor… I can separate the two.”

As seen on his Instagram, Oliver attended the premiere alongside Shantei Paranada, his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his baby girl, Valley Marie-Claire Saunders. Oliver shared a grip of photos from the event — held at The Beverly Garland Hotel — as well as a heartfelt message for his mom.

“I am SOOO proud of you!!!” he wrote in an October 17 Instagram. “Continue raising the bar and bringing up these powerful conversations that need to be had! Love you for ever and ever!”
