Starbucks has an extra-special gift in store this holiday season: the return of two beloved holiday drinks. The fan-favorite Eggnog Latte hasn’t been spotted on holiday menus for several years, but you’ll be able to order it again this season. The Chestnut Praline Latte is also returning for the holidays—just a little later than some of the other festive drinks.

The Triumphant Return of Two Popular Starbucks Holiday Drinks

The much-loved Eggnog Latte disappeared from menus after the 2021 holiday season—and while it’s spent the last few years away from the seasonal spotlight, it’s finally making a limited-time comeback in 2025. The drink is available hot or iced, and uses real eggnog mixed with shots of Starbucks’ classic espresso.

Things looked bleak for fans of the Chestnut Praline Latte earlier this year when Starbucks first made its holiday menu announcement. Despite remaining a fan-favorite holiday staple since 2014, the Chestnut Praline lineup didn’t come back with the rest of Starbucks’ holiday menu in early November.

Fortunately, Starbucks is bringing back the Chestnut Praline Latte for a limited release alongside the Eggnog Latte. This warm, buttery drink is flavored with Chestnut Praline syrup, topped with whipped cream, and finished with a dusting of spiced praline crumbles.

When the return of these drinks were initially announced, Starbucks didn’t give an official release date for the rest of the holiday menu. Now, we can confirm that the two drinks will re-release on Dec. 2. They will remain available alongside Starbucks’ other holiday offerings until the limited holiday menu disappears—which usually happens around the first week of January. The sweet, sweet return of these drinks might help soothe the sting of missing out on the Bearista Cup chaos that happened in early November.

You Can Also Order a Brand New Holiday Cold Foam

To celebrate the return of these two long-time Starbucks champions, the chain is also releasing a never-seen-before cold foam: the Eggnog Cold Foam. Blended with real eggnog, this airy and oh-so-festive offering is the perfect way to enjoy a splash of eggnog that isn’t quite as rich as its latte brethren.

Whether you want to double up on eggnog flavors or add this cheery topping to another of your favorite holiday drinks, we’re confident this holiday-exclusive cold foam will be a hit this season. Just be aware that Starbucks’ egg nog is made with dairy, so there’s no dairy-free Eggnog Latte or Eggnog Cold Foam on offer this year. The Chestnut Praline Latte, however, can be made with any milk of your choosing.
