Vanderpump Rules boss, Lisa Vanderpump, isn’t quite known for her wild hair changes over the years, but she’s definitely played around with her brown shade in the past. Take, for example, when she flaunted chunky blonde highlights during her younger years, as seen in her throwback photos. But, perhaps her wildest ‘do was the look she served in the Season 5 premiere when still a Housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thanks to some pink highlights.
Her subtle pink highlights mirrored Lisa’s unfaltering love of the color in her signature brunette hair. After all, she is as Nanny Pinky to her grandkids, had her beloved dogs dyed the rosy shade, and her Beverly Hills mansion, Villa Rosa, has notes of pink around every corner. Lisa, herself, can be seen wearing her signature color more often than not. So when she decided to throw some pink into her hair, it was a fun way to pay homage to her favorite color.

Lisa Vanderpump opens up about her hair routine
Although the 65-year-old entrepreneur might have glamorous hair, she admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in 2016 that she doesn’t put as much effort into her hairstyles as one might imagine.
“I’m the lowest maintenance person,” said the restaurateur. “The first thing I ask when I sit in the hairdresser’s chair is, ‘How long will it take?’ That’s my tagline: ‘How long will it take?’”

All said, while Lisa appreciates a time-efficient sesh in the salon chair, her mane is still essential to her livelihood. As she continued in the HB interview, “I’m ready top to toe in 45 minutes. I have to wash my hair every day; if I don’t, I’m depressed. But I jump in the shower, wash my hair, dry my hair, put on makeup, and I’m camera-ready. If I were getting red-carpet ready, an hour and 15 minutes.”

Lisa admitted in the aforementioned interview with Harper’s Bazaar that she uses extensions by Andrea Jaclyn (now Andrea Henty, as seen on the specialist’s Instagram page) of the Bomane Hair Salon. Still, Lisa doesn’t always want to look too put-together.

“I don’t want to look too set and done. I like that freshly shagged look. When you’ve got the clothes and the this and that, you become a bit contrived,” Lisa continued. “I like my hair looking a little more relaxed… So I like that kind of shagged look.”
The SUR owner admitted to Harper’s Bazaar to dyeing her own brows, because, as she put it, “When you wake up in the morning, if you’ve got lashes on and your eyebrows have some strength to them, then you never look too washed out.”
“And I don’t know what it is,” LVP continued. “Even after being married all these years, but I’m that girl that if I’ve got a big zit on my face, I’ll put cover-up on it before going to bed. I don’t want him seeing me looking too ugly.”
See what styles LVP brings next when Vanderpump Rules returns for Season 12 with an all-new cast to shake things up.
