Vacuuming and mopping are must-do chores that many of us don’t enjoy. Sure, a clean house feels amazing, but it takes time to get everything sparkling clean. Luckily, technology has come to the rescue and given us robot vacuums to make cleaning quicker and more efficient. 

It’s tough to know which vacuums are worth the hype and which aren’t, so we tested out dozens of them earlier this year. The iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max Robot earned our pick as the “Best Overall Robot Vacuum of 2025.” And as an bonus, it’s discounted at its lowest price ever by a jaw-dropping 58% on Amazon right now.

The iRobot model faced some stiff competition, but we felt it was the best overall option after testing out dozens of robot vacs for up to six months. For one thing, it mops as well as vacuums, which saves oodles of time. 

Regularly $600, this handy mop and vac combo is discounted to just $251 right now at Amazon. Even at full price though, we felt “it’s worth it for those who want a reliable option that pretty much takes care of itself thanks to the self-emptying AutoWash dock.” And setting it up was a cinch with a little help from the brand’s app.

Once it was up and running, this smart little device scouted out portions of the floor with extra dirt and automatically gave them a deeper clean. When it found messes with fine debris like flour or powdered sugar, the vac passed over the mess multiple times until it was completely gone. The vacuum even offered us helpful hints about areas that could use a little extra cleaning.

We had no issues with it getting stuck, and it efficiently cleaned under counters and in corners. Obstacles like furniture were no problem, either—the vac slowed itself until it tapped into the obstacle before rerouting.

It’s an especially smart choice if you’ve got pets or kiddos (or both!) at home. This reviewer agreed, calling it “perfect for my busy family.” 

The self-cleaning features are a big highlight as well. It not only empties itself in its docking station, but it also refills the mopping tank and washes and dries the mop pads by itself. Just be prepared for the noisy wash cycle to be a little disruptive for about 30 seconds or so.
