eBay acquired Goldin Auctions in 2024 and is now enticing collectors to link their eBay accounts to Goldin through a sweepstakes. eBay sent an email to customers on Friday with the subject line: “Enter to win $1,500 in credit on Goldin.”
In announcing its acquisition of Goldin last year, which it called “a leading US-based auction house for high-value trading cards and collectibles,” eBay said it would “bring some of the most exciting, exclusive inventory to eBay customers.”
Friday’s email encouraged customers to log in to Goldin with their eBay account to access exclusive auctions and be entered to win up to $1,500 in Goldin credit. One winner will receive a $1,500 credit (and an invitation to Goldin’s national party – presumably held during the National Sports Collectors Convention), and four others will receive $250 credits. eBay customers can sign in on Goldin.co/sign using the “Sign in with eBay” link. They can then “Connect accounts, or verify a new one,” eBay wrote.
The sweepstakes runs through January 31, 2026, and the drawing will be held on February 2, 2026.
eBay also noted in the December 5th email that the Netflix series featuring the founder of Goldin Auctions, called “King of Collectibles,” would begin airing its third season on December 23rd. It also linked to the “Goldin Weekly Auction” with “ultra-rare pieces” with the bidding starting at $10.
