Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has officially offloaded her renovated and restored 19th-century townhouse in New York‘s historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.

The Federal-style residence was first offered for $14 million in March, then subsequently relisted for nearly $12.8 million. Now, with The Kinda Pregnant and I Feel Pretty star and her newly estranged husband Chris Fischer headed for divorce, the place is under contract to be sold for $11 million, a whopping $1.25 million less than the $12.3 million they paid in 2022.

The sale comes amid the couple’s decision to end their marriage after seven years. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son,” Schumer said on social media. The buyer, per The Real Deal, is an LLC tied to Michael Saltzman, a writer and producer of The Boys, Murphy Brown, and The Pink Panther.

The kitchen is outfitted with a pricey Lacanche range.

Built in the early 1800s and notably featured as the Castorini family’s home in the 1987 Oscar-winning film Moonstruck starring Cher and Nicolas Cage, the 26-foot-wide brick and mansard-roof structure has four (and potentially five) bedrooms and four baths across roughly 5,500 square feet. Five levels sport wide-plank floors, exposed beam ceilings, and a grand total of 30 windows for abundant natural light. There’s also a Michael Van Valkenburgh-landscaped backyard that currently holds a turf-clad play area but could easily be repurposed as a private gated parking space.

Among the other highlights is a pair of fireside parlors divided by large pocketing doors. A wood-paneled bedroom-turned-library connects to the kitchen, which is outfitted with vintage wood cabinetry, a marble-topped island, upscale Gaggenau and Lacanche appliances, a butler’s pantry donning a zinc bar sink, and a breakfast nook.

A primary suite occupying the entire third level is decked out with a corner bedroom warmed by an original fireplace, as well as dressing and sitting rooms, an office, and a marble bath flaunting another fireplace, dual sinks, a vintage clawfoot soaking tub, and a glass-encased shower. Elsewhere are three more bedrooms that share a penny-tiled bath, along with a wine cellar and a gym.

Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group shared the listing with Karen and Kyle Talbott of The Corcoran Group.
